Assistant Professor
Teaching and research in computing and informatics. Course Coordinator since 2014, member of the BSIT/BSDS Course Improvement, Steering and Exam Committees, and supervisor of final-year projects for eleven years.
B.Sc. Mathematics · M.C.A. · Ph.D. — with over 21 years across academia, research and industry. My work builds resilient, self-healing cyber-physical systems, combining adversarial machine learning with hardware-rooted security to protect critical infrastructure.
"From passive defense to active, self-healing autonomy."
I am a Computer Science researcher and educator dedicated to ensuring the survivability of critical infrastructure in an increasingly hostile threat landscape. My research focuses on the transition from passive defense to active, self-healing autonomy within cyber-physical systems. By integrating hardware-rooted monitoring with robust machine learning algorithms, I develop architectures capable of autonomously detecting, isolating and recovering from cyber threats — from medical devices to power grids. With over two decades spanning academia and industry, I am passionate about teaching analytical and logical reasoning, mentoring the next generation of engineers, and driving research that moves beyond theory to tangible, scalable security solutions.
